Eighteen years, nine countries, both sides of the table.

CTO at more than ten companies, technology lead on the buy side, and co-founder of a boutique advisory firm.

In short

Eighteen years in banking, fintech and insurance across nine countries in Latin America, Europe and the United States. CTO at more than ten companies — three full-time, the rest fractional or interim — and technology lead on the buy side for a multifamily office acquiring fintechs.

As an operator

At Wenance, as CTO of a consumer lending holding, I selected the core banking platform, led its implementation and migrated more than 300,000 accounts as the portfolio grew during the rollout. I built the open banking API strategy, the decoupled microservices risk platform and a cloud-native data warehouse, deployed Salesforce Financial Services Cloud across more than 350 agents, launched three digital business units processing over USD 1.5M a day, and designed the operating model for an ARS 1B+ operation.

At Nubity, as CTO, I scaled technology operations supporting a business of more than USD 10M, decommissioned three data centres, and ran an operation of over a thousand managed servers across AWS, Azure, Google Cloud and SoftLayer, serving 150+ enterprise clients through mission-critical events. Nubity was later acquired by Evertec (NYSE: EVTC) in 2024.

Earlier, at HP and IBM, I worked in mission-critical environments for global banking and airline operations, including executing a disaster recovery for a global bank on site in New York.

On the investment side

As CTO of a multifamily office acquiring fintech companies, I assessed roughly thirty targets and decided what to buy and at what price, then owned the post-acquisition integration view for what closed.

As co-founder and partner of Gödel Partners, a boutique advisory firm founded with a former McKinsey consultant, I served as interim and fractional C-level for boards, shareholders and founders across more than 40 engagements in the United States, Latin America and Europe — including recurring work as technical counterpart to Bain & Company teams on banking and insurance mandates.

Now

Partner, Management Consulting at COA LATAM, leading regionalisation strategy across fintech, banking and insurance, and working with boards on multi-country programmes and agentic AI in regulated environments.

Education

Information Systems Engineering and a postgraduate programme in Project Management at UTN FRBA. Executive programmes at the University of Chicago (fintech) and the University of Miami (technology trends), and a specialisation at Ajou University, South Korea. Supervised more than thirty engineering theses at UTN between 2011 and 2024.
